La Pommeraie is located in the Department of Orne on the Normandy / Pays De Loire border in the small village of Fye between the towns of Alencon and Le Mans, famous for its 24hr Motor racing Circuit.

Fye is a small peaceful village with all usual amenities and the town of Alencon 10 minutes away has larger hypermarkets and tourist activities. The market town of La Fresney Sur Sarthe is within 3 miles and has all typical characteristics you would expect from a rural French town. There are forests and lakes close to Fye which provide ideal opportunity for a relaxing holiday whether walking, cycling or just sampling the French way of life.

Alencon itself has a recently constructed swimming pool and there are 2 nearby lakes at Sille le Guillaume and Le Mel sur Sarthe with man made beaches which offer all the usual water leisure facilities.
